Moon. Parsnip. Lax. Do you love those words as much as I do?
Does a story’s journey begin with the rolling of favourite words in your mouth and the scrape of your pencil across a smooth sheet of paper?
Or does it begin with a place – a wide beach or a tangled wood – or with a character?
Once you step onto the path that leads towards a story’s end, you never quite know where it might take you.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, teaching children for not quite as long, and I’ll never be tired of stepping onto that winding story-track.
Will you come with me?
